Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AppReviewLens (“the Service”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a web-based SaaS platform for researching app ideas by analysing publicly available app store reviews and metadata.

AppReviewLens is operated by Apps Foundry Labs Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales (Company Number 16288141), with its registered office at Unit 7, 97 Western Road, Southall, England, UB2 5HN.

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use AppReviewLens. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account using either Google sign-in or email and password registration. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised, are being misused, or violate these Terms.

4.1 Description

AppReviewLens allows users to search for apps across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and view AI-generated analysis of publicly available user reviews. Features include:

• App search across both major app stores
• Review sentiment analysis
• Insight extraction (what users love, what users hate, feature requests)
• Competitor and similar app discovery
• Market research and opportunity scoring
• Category-level and comparison analysis

4.2 AI-Generated Content

Analysis and insights provided by AppReviewLens are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information. The Service is intended as a research and decision-support tool, not as a definitive source of truth. You should independently verify any insights before making business decisions based on them.

4.3 Public Data Sources

AppReviewLens analyses publicly available data from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including app metadata, ratings, and user reviews. We do not access private, restricted, or non-public data from any app store. The availability, accuracy, and completeness of this data depends on the respective app store platforms and is outside our control.

4.4 Service Availability

We aim to keep AppReviewLens available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime where practicable.

5.1 Free Plan

AppReviewLens offers a free plan that provides limited access to the Service, including a fixed number of app searches and basic analysis features. The specific limits of the free plan may change at our discretion.

5.2 Pro Plan (Paid Subscription)

The Pro plan provides unlimited searches and access to the full suite of analysis features. Pro subscriptions are available on a monthly or yearly billing basis.

Current pricing is displayed on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. If pricing changes affect your existing subscription, we will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect on your next billing cycle.

5.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

5.4 Billing and Renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

5.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free plan.

5.6 Refunds

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at support@appsfoundrylabs.com within 14 days of the charge.

You agree not to use AppReviewLens to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service beyond normal use through the provided interface
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits, authentication, or security measures
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without our prior written consent
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs without our permission
• Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably determine that you have violated these acceptable use provisions.

7.1 Our Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property associated with AppReviewLens are owned by or licensed to Apps Foundry Labs Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7.2 Your Use of Insights

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the analysis and insights generated by AppReviewLens for your own internal research and business purposes. You may reference insights in your own work (e.g., pitch decks, product documents), but you may not republish or redistribute raw outputs from the Service as a competing product or data service.

7.3 Third-Party Content

App reviews, ratings, and metadata displayed within the Service originate from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. AppReviewLens does not claim ownership of third-party review content.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• AI-generated analysis will be accurate, complete, or up to date
• The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
• Any particular business outcome will result from using the Service

AppReviewLens is a research tool. It does not constitute professional, financial, legal, or business advice. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make based on information obtained through the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apps Foundry Labs Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Loss of data or goodwill
• Business decisions made based on insights provided by the Service
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Unauthorised access to your account

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty pounds sterling (£50).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Apps Foundry Labs Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@appsfoundrylabs.com. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behaviour, or if required by law. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice before taking such action.

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination of your account.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a prominent notice within the Service.

Your continued use of AppReviewLens after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Apps Foundry Labs Ltd regarding the use of AppReviewLens and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
